Default What size pinion?

Cheers in Advance

What size battery do you plan on running? 3S or 4S?

I will give a shot in the dark here, with experience from my Associated RC8e

I have the same KV on my motor, and i am going to use 4S, with a 46 t spurgear, and i was recommended going for a piniongear with 13-14 teeth.

Thanks Lars, I'm thinking of grabbing 13T right through to 16T/17T and see how we go.

Cheers

You want to gear for around 35-40mph

So work it out here:

In my experience with 46 spur: a 13T pinion is best on 4S 2650kv. 14T is also ok, but is on the high side.
