Motor is absolutely bananas man!!! I made a TRINITY D3 thread on here somewhere.. has a lot of good information in it. These motors are very very torquey and run super cool... add 1-2mm of timing and your jaw will drop

They have TONS of torque!

Compared to other 550's on the market they will out pull and out run anything we have tested thus far on a no boost speedo with 0* of timing (to make everything equal).

We supply the Fantom Fusion 550 which is based on the Duo 550.

I think that the stamped one is tuned (to motors sweet spot) and has been shimmed precisely. But i could be wrong

I wouldn't care if this motor was the fastest thing on the market , Trinity/Epic sells mostly rebadged junk IMO and their CS is the worst I have ever had experienced .

Will NEVER buy another Trinity/Epic product again

There's always one.

I love my D3, my D2 was awesome too, and their support has been amazing the few times I've needed it. For example, I once couldn't find an item on their website, it was a new product I wanted to purchase, and it wasn't listed yet. Billy sent me one for free.

I run a D2 21.5 in my on road car and my son has the D3 6.5 in his buggy. Great motors but can't answer for CS as we have not had any problems with them.

This is kinda funny.

I run a 17.5 D3s and a 17.5 ION3 (same motor) and a 13.5 ION3. Awesome motors for the price for sure.

If you dont like "trinity" thats fine. If you want CS get the Fantom ION3. Yes it is the same motor and all, but Fantom has more CS on their "rebadged duo"

Awesome torque on the low end, and it responds to boost better than most IMO. Meaning great power and lower temps.
