Novak Havoc Spec ESC?

Hey guys, I currently have a Novak Havoc 13.5 system but now my Local Track is not running that class anymore. So my question is can I use an EZRUN 17.5 motor with the novak ESC.

Is it this Havoc? If it's the sport and NOT the 3S or Pro then I would say NO. Unless the motor you're asking about has a thermal sensor in it, which most do not. The original Havoc esc's will not run motors without this. The esc will give you a temp sensor error code.
