Looks kinda like a Kyosho version of an XFactory.

heres what it says: Team Xtreme - famous for their Predator line of cars have struck out in a new direction with a 'VEGA-ELITE' branded high quality mid-motor conversion for the Kyosho RB5 2WD buggy. All the work is done in-house, in the UK, by the team.

cool looking none the less

Agreed but if someone is just starting without assurance of big volume CNC machining is the way to go. It's pretty expensive so I'm guessing they're testing the market and if it sells they'll invest in molds and do a gear case and chassis.

Wow that body looks ugly as hell might even be uglier than the xfactory body . The chassis looks nice though .

Ya, 180 pounds? Not sure of the current conversion rates but I'd guess $250 is not too far off.

Looks awesome and I'd love to get back into 2wd buggy with something like this but that makes the RB5sp2 a $525 roller before you even get electronics!!

Kinda a knock off of the X Factory ideas...it's got to be tuff to come up with something completely new and go to production I bet.

I don't know if I'd have called it "Vega" I'm old enough to remember the Chevy namesake.
