common practice is to use the smallest amount of "tire glue, super glue" on the threads...only just enough to prevent them from backing out and still be able to break it free to perform maintenance. If possible add to top threads just before screw is completly in place.

Hyper ion, Orion, and hitter all have good multiple output chargers. I think with the hyperion you can plug it into the wall(A/C). With the others i believe that you will need a power supply. If you dont have one, or one that is capable of supporting the output required, it makes the hyperion a great value not to mention an amazing charger!

+1 on cstroh post. I use a Hyperion charger. There are several good brands that would meet your needs, I'd ensure it has a balancer and battery storage function, to extend performance and battery lifespan. I also recommend checking out www.premierhobbies.com, they're currently offering $10 off a $60 purchase which may save you some money.

Ive used this in other applications, its not near as permanant as locktite or super glue, but a little wax will help gum up the threads. (candle, bowstring wax if you have it,parrafin, ski). Its just a little something to "fill" those threads a little bit. Cant say its a sure thing,(for plastic) but it works great on field points for bowhunting. The sticker the better. You can find bowstring wax (super sticky) at the obvious (sporting goods) store.

STRC makes a hinge pin set for the slash 2wd that screws in on one site and has a nut on the other. It won't back out
