I ran the SCRT10 spur gear in mine. Had to remove a little material on the long sides of the slot. ALthough it might just fit, I had shifted my motor and center diff, so my new holes weren't exactly centering the diff.

Thanks for the tip on the body, I'll have to grab a couple before there gone.
I'll be racing mine, the local track said they'd put me w/ the mod staduim truck class, if enough of them show up, or the novice class. Not to stoked on racing in the novice class, those dudes are hard on their rigs.

I think that I could run w/ the 13.5 4x4 buggy class.

Looking forward to checking it out.

I'm running the sct kit in my crt. Geared 15/46, stock tires, 2s, it runs good. Mind you I'm running on a pretty small indoor track, top speed is on the low side. I'm also runnning the same kit in my SCRT10. The SCT kit is a awesome motor/esc for the budget racers.

[QUOTE=-R2-;8434892]Just so you know we still have some of the Proline Crowd Pleazer bodies, the part number is 40935. Nitrohouse can sell them to you. get em while you can I believe we have about 35 left.

Can you post a link? I looked and couldn't find it.

Anyone one try the Jconcepts body? Not sure if it's suited for the short or long chassis?

Mine is in the mail, should be here on Friday. Can't wait, should be fun. I had to go with the Sidewinder sct as well. For $109 it cannot be beat. Now I gotta decide weather or not to put that in my scrt10 and swap my vxl system to the crt, or put the sidewinder in the crt.

I can't seem to find this anywhere... Is this going to come as a kit, or pre-built like the scrt10?

Pre built about 80% if you bought the CRT.5 "PRO" kit off of the eBay deal I posted a few posts back for $75.

I got mine last week. You have to mount/glue tires, paint and cut body, drill holes in the wing, Build and fill the shocks with oil, and convert it to electric if you want. It comes with the extended chassis in the box... so if you want to run that (which I recommend), you have to swap chassis when you get it. It was a fun build.... all be it not a full build.

There seems to be abit of interest in this car but is there races for it? I know the gp CRT.5 died that y scrt10 took over.

Wanted to run this car but there's no interest in this class in my country.

Flesh-Yea I got it off that ebay deal you posted, thanks. I gotta order the parts to convert to electric still, got em in my list on amain. I'll deff be using the ext chassis.

SuperEK-I am going to race it with Ofna Hyper TT truggies, plus there is at least one guy at the track who has a e-crt.5. There are a bunch of tt's at my local track, but they cost around $230 versus the Jammin at $75. And the tt's are on back order everywhere almost all the time.

So it 1/8 vs 1/12 or all 1/12?

The ofna truggies are 1/10 scale. Not much bigger than the crt.5. Main thing different is the crt comes with 2wd buggy rear tires all around, and the ofna is 2wd truck rears all around. But you can put 2wd truck tires on the crt.
