ProLine and I believe VP made wider 1/8 buggy tires/wheels, only for about a year though. There was backlash against it and the rulemakers quickly stamped it out. I don't think there was any demand for it since the weight bias of most 1/8 4wd buggies doesn't reward additional rear traction anyway.
