Default Worn Barcodes or New?

I have a brand new pair of short course gold bar codes, and a used pair that has pretty much worn down the whole center tread. What will be better to run in the rear on a high bite hard pack indoor clay (tight)? I will be running green double dees up front. Thanks

It all depends on the surface. Is it wet or dry? Swept?

Wet using "slicker" tires is usually the ticket. Dryer tracks with "newer" tires is the ticket.

Greens normally are way too much in the front....try each and find out.

It depends on the track really. If the track has high bite a worn set will work better. If the track is loose a newer set would be more ideal.

high bite dry. But no dust except on the edges.

+1 on Buggy Kings post. If high bite/dry & no dust on race line, the worn tire will probably work better. If damp or dust in race line, I'd recommend the tire with some tread.

Well with the new barcodes they changed to compound and are softer for more bite but were quickly on grooved up tracks.
