There is a thread on rc-monster.com in the Castle section about this.

Loooks didn't see those. You guys have some links to them? I'm really excited to see how it does with this motor. My only concern is I haven't seen/heard/read of anyone one using them

I have a 5700 in an E Firestorm, only a couple packs run through it before the weather turned to snow but it runs strong on 2s. I compared it to the 3800kv SCT motor with the same truck geared for nearly the same top speed. The SCT motor is a little stronger but the 1406 is plenty for this ST. I ran 19/87 with the 5700.

Just trying to revive this thread. I was wondering if these motors are worth the extra expense? I was considering as a replacement for my regular 5700kV in my 4wd buggy. Hoping with more torque, it would run cooler and maybe give a bit more gearing option.

Any recent feedback would be welcome.
