Default Brushless motor system suggestions for EMAXX 3905????

HI, I have a 3905 emaxx that I traded the esc, motor, servos, and waterproof box off for a brand new vxl stampede, and I was wanting to race the emaxx this spring. The club has an open 4x4 class so I can run whatever specs I want. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money. Also, I have a pretty good set of 7 cell 5000 Elite Nimh packs. I would rather not spend another $100 to $150 dollars more for a lipo and a lipo charger. I would just like to know what would be a good brushless motor setup for racing on a medium difficulty outdoor track. I would like to stay around the $100 range up to MAYBE $150. Let me know guys!! Thanks! Email me, pm, reply, or if you want call/txt me and if your an old pro at racing maybe you can help me out! 217-343-8234 Thanks again guys

That's probably the best set you'll get for around 100$. Unless you buy some used stuff, of course.

Think that is way too much KV. It needs to be around 1000-2000 for an E-maxx, depending on weight. Preferably around 1500 kv.

I'll check into that one. It just kind of worries me I haven't heard much about them anywhere; at least I know Novak makes good stuff.

I have a castle 1y on the sale forum (just check posts on my name for link) 85 shipped.. the MMM motor is perfect for 4-6s sicks speeds in your truck. it's what traxxas use to pack in the brushless versions erevo etc. Not sure if they still do or not have not looked at traxxas stuff in a very long time.

I don't know I just know Novak makes a 6.5 motor and I was asking if that motor would be decent.

I will be looking for some buggy style rims and tires. I would preferrably like a white dish rim and some kind of spiked or nobby tire.

Also, what gearing should I use with the HV-Maxx system in the 3905 emaxx? I have a 68 spur as of now.
