Default SMC

I've had great success with and like the SMC Extreme packs. They recently went to bullet style inputs, which I preffer now that I've switched over.

dont think you really need 50c packs unless you have all the traction in the world, which is never the case in offroad, or you have all wheel drive. and even most people will turn up a current limiter or traction control because they hit so damn hard that it just lights the wheels up. spinning wheels only gets you out of control and not moving forward, so i would save the cha-ching and just get more 25 or 30c packs for the cost of 1 nice 50c pack imo.

I am also in the hunt for some 50C packs and from the reading I have done I think I will be trying the Venom packs next. I have had 4 28C SMC hardcase lipo's and 3 have puffed in less than 8 months of use, I must say that their service is great and they replaced my first two because of puffing, but then one of the replacements has also puffed (3 of the 4). And yes I have cared for them properly!

what car are you trying to get a 50c lipo for, you need to look at the max amps your esc can pull cause they only pull a certain, so if you get a 50c and your esc can only pull 30c then its a waste of battery, i prefer thunderpower batteries

I like the IP batteries, have 6 of them the oldest one is 3 years old and still works great.

I use the 4000, 5000 and 5600. The 4000s are the oldest but fit the best in my RT5 and SC10.

I use 2 of the 5600 in my RC8Be and they fit perfect.

Here is a link to where I purchase mine. You can't beat the price.

RC-Mushroom

If you buy from them get the faster shipping - you will receive in 1 week or less.

I just picked up 2 IP 6200 60c from rcmart for 79 each. You definitely want a good c rating for 4wd sc I know that. My 40c turnigy packs tend to fade 6 or 7 minutes into a qualy.
