As my title says- Whats a good no limit brushless esc between 100-200 dollars? Have been looking around. But I haven't a clue. I'm used to brush motors. been away from the hobby for many years.

If you don't plan to run stock the new version of the Novak GTB is really good. $99 I think too.

So I can use the Mamba Max Pro with any motor? Not just theirs? So I can just buy a Ballistic 17.5? And use it? Or buy a 6.5? Or whatever.

Yes. That is why the MMP has a sensor port and their motors are sensorless.

You can't beat the GTB for $99. I'm still using one for racing mod buggy.

You can use a 17.5 motor however most stock racers now use speed controls with timing advance features (GTB doesn't have this) and can get much more speed out of their motors with them. Castle MMP is the most economical timing advance speed control I know of. I have a friend who uses one and likes it alot as others have mentioned. He did say that it didn't work well for him with modified wind motors (without the timing features turned on) but I don't know why that would be.

Our GTBs have a 3.5T motor limit----but the range (currently) is up to (and including) 25.5.

So, basically all motors.
