It screams! It puts out a lot of usable power and the stock carb is actually pretty good. Just be careful with break-in and it will last a while as well.

Thanks Aaron, My Kanai #1 likes to run at around 240* if I richen it to cool it down I lose power! just to rich and leeks fuel at the nose bearing. is 240* Ok? I.m racing in Vegas and its about 105*

it is normal for the engine to leak a bit of fuel thru the front bearing. Nothing to worry about.

You really shouldn't have any fuel leaking from anywhere. Check the bearing and make sure it's ok. OFNA makes a tool specifically for pulling bearings out of .21 engines.
It is ok to run this engine above 220. The common misconception that anything over 200 will damage the motor is an old wives' tale. As long as you keep it under 300, and you return the piston to BDC before letting it cool, you will be fine.

Thanks! I think I'll change the nose bearing, the seal may be going out. cant hurt!

go ahead and change it if u so desire...
the front bearing seal is only meant to keep dirt out of the bearing.
The seal is created while the engine is running by the spin action of the crankshaft and the fuel itself.

I use a heat gun it works great! . I have a Bearing removel & instillation tool, but the bearing seems to be in good cond.

I won't put my engine anywhere near water..your best bet is to use a heat gun, like speed racer said.
Most engine bearings are simply metal-shielded and don't have seals. Some bearings simply fit better than others, both inside the case and around the crank.

I will talk to Adam about carb settings tonight (if I remember).
Adam ran his Kanai Evo II this weekend...and it is unbelieveable. Totally ballistic, with TONS of bottom-end pop. After a few runs to get it broken in and tuned up, he had one of the fastest buggies on the track.
