This is cool. We used to do this to the old school rc10's)gold tub/6 gear and stealth tranny. NEVER had to add a fourth gear.

It looks alike almost 40/60? the lenght is 21 inches long, so half is 10 1/2 inches. so it show the measurement of 11 to 11 1/2.

Them were great article's , ..... I wonder if this would work on the Ultima SC. The chassis and rear plate look about the same. The trans looks even closer to a AE trans then I thought.

Looks good there, but I'd make it so you can put the battery sideways in
front of the motor also before going the track just in case you might need
to put it there to get it to work.

My money is on the side ways in front of the motor to get the SC to work
correctly...

Hey Rusty, from the pic it looks like the rear toe is backwards, thats because you probly just spun the rear clip, if so that has to be corrected or you won't be able to go in a straight line. Nice job so far though, just keep workin out all the bugs and you will get it.

I am very interested in how this turns out, I recently converted an rb5 to a mid-motor shortcourse and I can't wait to get it to the track. I did some very dramatic things with the weight distribution on mine, in the backyard it handles like a 4x4 so I am hoping that transfers to the track as well.

good luck and keep us updated!
