Default Baking pink compound tires off their rims?

If I were to bake off some pink compound slick tires from their rims would the tire be reusable? I was just curious if heating pink compound tires would ruin their tackiness.

I've done it. If you use some zip-free on them afterwards they remain plenty sticky.

Boiling works well, too. Last week I put some pink BK Bars in a shallow pan with boiling water for about 5 minutes a side. Pulled right off. Shoved in some new foams and re-glued. Cake.

Just cut the tire off with a X-knife and then soak the rim in acetone ..

Takes about two minutes and your tire would be perfectly good to use again ...

Never had any issues baking the Taper Pinks. They worked the same after several bakings. I did that to try different foams.
