Default Help! Starting my new Losi XXX-NT Sport

I am new to r/c. I just bought a Losi XXX-NT RTR, it has a Dynamite Mach .15 engine. I just spent 45 min trying to start it. I adjusted the carburetor to the factory recomended settings. It sometimes starts but shuts down right away. Please Help! The truck runs for about 2 seconds not even enough time to takes the igniter off. After it stalls out it also seems to be "hydro-locked" so I have to pull the glow plug and pump the gas out of the cylinder.

When does it stall? After you take the glow plug ingnitor off? I need to know when it is stalling. It is probably your idle screw though.

Here's what to do:
Put the XXXNT back in the box
Sell it off
Buy a XXXT
JUST JOKING, NITRO GUYS!!

That happened to me when I had my XTM. I guessed it was because it was WAY too rich at factory settings... After break-in, when you lean it out, it starts easily.

Speaking of nitro, I got a Nitro Rusler .15 coming my way from my "brother".... guess I get another shot at it...

It stalls almost right away, it starts for maybe 2 seconds then dies. I don't even get time to take the igniter off. It also seems to be "hydro locked"

As soon as it starts give it gas. The high speed needle should be set at 3 turns for break in. So set the needle at 3 turns open and try again. Also try turning your idle screw another 1/2 turn clock wise.

Thanks for the help! I ended up taking the truck back to the store and the carb was all out of wack. So they adjusted it and it fired right up.
