both are good for beginers and experts.

I suggest if you are going to race, see what most people are running at yout track.

That way you can ask people for set up help.

And see what is easier to get parts for at your lhs

Hey.

I agree with Ybakoff.

See what people run at your local track, see what ur local hobby shop sells and decide from there. Both are very capable cars!

Where i race there are no losi's at all, not even one!! Its AE heaven!

p.s Associated ROCK go the b4!!!

Both vehicles are great and will get the job done. The Bk2 looks to be the biggest departure from the Team version of the car ( XXX ).

From what I hear the initial setups of the B4 and Bk2 each appeal to different types of drivers. The Bk2 being the one that feels more forgiving.

I personally like AE products, but I haven't had problems with either.

When in doubt and everything else is equal, flip a coin or go with the one you can get cheaper.

HeY!!!

Basicly this is your own decision to decide whether what buggy you want becuase everybody has there own opinion on this so just go w/ what you think you will end up liking, or the one w/ the most parts availible at you lhs. or if you know people try out each buggy and see what you like better.

Im Not a losi man-Just well rounded...I own all associated cars and an SB sport. I sold all my losi cars-
At the track where I run-in 2wd stock or Mod-buggy or truck LOSI is king. The front suspension arms of the b4 & t4 are just too brittle for me.
Heres how it is:
The losi- BK, BK2, MF,MF2 are better setup out box for competition than associated. If you dont believe me then for example check out one of the innovations of Losi in the thicker webbed from suspensiopn arms on the MF2-very nice! Amazing that no major manufacturer has done this before losi. Then check out the hop ups (add-ons) in the box and you'll see why there are consider awesome kits.
The associated b4, t4 team kits are good but after you buy it you will have to hop it up ($$$$) to get it to hang with a losi. I find that will associated these are good first cars, Durable as Hell-b3 , t3, NTC3 Factory team kits-I'm just amazed on how bombproof these cars are. As I climb the ladder I know that days coming when these Associated will have to go and I go Losi all the way.
When I see the associated FTK b4 and T4 hang with Losi BK2, MF2 ect then I will change my view.

P.S. For some uncanny reason I still feel a sense of Loyalty to stick with associated.

im a losi guy but i juss want every1 to know that associated is able to hang or beat losi

My point was out the box Losi was better for competition-
The ae car that won those races were majorly hopped up. The average joe racer (like the guys at our local track) will not hop up an ae like the pro racers do to hang with the losis.

Just look at the costs of the car -as listed by Horizon Hobbies
BK2-245.99 / B4tk-199.99

Which do you think out the box is better?

How about this:
MF2-254.99 T4tk214.99

THINK ABOUT WHAT IS ON BOTH TRUCKS BEFORE YOU HONESTLY ANSWER THE QUESTION.

Which do you think is better out the box?

Average Joe racer
will buy the car that has the most in the package for the price and that is the Losi.
What I see here in So. California is the ae owner spend a ton to hop up their kit to be comparable to Losi! (just Like I did)

As previously stated :"At our track Losi is king".

This is what I was affraid of I had a TC3 and it broke all the time. So went to the XXX-S and have been 100% precent satisfied. But most people I know run the TC3. Same with the buggies most people I know run the B4 not the Losi. Hate being the lone ranger but if its better than its the right way to go.

Have heard talk the Losi is harder to set up and ride. Any thoughts on that?
