I have some of those packs and they run great especially with the 25 amp charge rate. just cut the connectors off and solder your traxxas one's on. Since it is 8g wire I would strip the wire down like to 12g so it makes it easier to solder but it is doable as 8g.

Those are for charging, and will not hold up to the drain on batt at WOT.. In other words the Wires will burn up when you nail the throttle...

Disregard Those are made for a hard case, and may work in your case.. But soldering on the correct ends would best.. Because every connection you make will drop power.

No, those are to small and will not fit. The best thing to do is solder or own on. Solder guns are like 15 bucks at home depot. Watch a couple vids on youtube and your good to go. That's how I learned and now I am soldering 40 6mm bullet connectors to all my lipos and esc's and redoing all the 8g wire on the hobby king lipos down to 12 g. All this and a little practice from watching the videos. Flux is your friend.

Soldering is so easy with a good iron and flux. I can understand it being intimidating when dealing with batteries though.

These are the one's you would need. You would use the female one and solder the little tabs to the power leads and push them in the plug.

The cold heat solder irons suck. I know you are on a budget so the Hako's out. The Home Cheapo will have something that will heat up enough to solder the 8g wires. I used a Hobbico cheapie for quite a while and can't believe I didn't spend a little extra and get a good solder iron. If you do a lot of it, it's a must. Best $89.00 I have spent in this hobby hands down.

yea, i just read a bunch of reviews on the cold heat.....all bad! i really dont use a soldering iron at all. i'll probably just have my lhs do it for me. i'll take the traxxas plugs in and the lipo batteries and have them solder them.

nooo, im not going to attempt soldering them. especially with a cheap soldering gun. i dont use them much, so im just going to have my lhs do it. they will probably do it for free. the one lhs soldered a wire that started to break on my 12t titan motor for free.
