Default Futaba 3pk radio...what do you need fer it?

Ok, tower hobbies is selling the 3pk at a fair price ( i think), but its servo less. Here's the link to the one i'm looking at.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXCML5**&P=ML

I'm wondering, what do you need to make it work with my T3. I got a Novak Rooster Reversible speed controle, otherwise, everything is stock for the Sport truck pakage. The other one i had was a cheap, pop out-a-the-box and it worked, only half the time, so this is my first competion grade radio. I like the features it has, so i think i'm going to go with this one. Just wondering what i need to make it work...right.

Cause it's the pcm model you can use just about any servo.

You can get Hitec hs525mg or hs925mg if you want to spend a little
more.

I have that radio in 40meg.

Did you know that you can get them for 270us.

Hitec servos have too many problems IMO

You can't go wrong with a good ole JR metal gear (or for that matter a XS3)

For your truck all u need to do is remove your stock receiver and plug your ESC and servo into your new receiver. It dont matter what make of servos or esc the futaba pcm or fm will just plug and play. Use the included manual to make the initial setups.

As for servos i swear by hitec 925 and 945 servos in anolog or digital, metal gears, lighting fast and oring sealed. Plus a 2 year warranty, at a fraction of the price of futaba or jr servos

Ok, thanks guys. Like i said before, i've been out for awhile, so i just don't want to screw anything up and look like a moron going to the track and find out reverse is forward and forwards reverse. (ok...so it happened once...quick fix )

Have a look at www.hobbymania.com.

They have the 3pk in 70meg pcm for $265. Might be cheaper to buy it there and ship in to you. Then you can buy more parts for you car.

If you buy the PCM model. You can use any servo. non digital.

If you buy the hrs receivers you have to use digital servo's. You can change between the modes on the radio.

But if you don't buy the PCM model you have to use digital servo's
