im looking into getting an rc8b , and i wanna convert it to brushless. i can get a good deal on a novak hv pro with a 6.5 turn motor. its got like 20 runs on it. is it a good set up for a first timer with 1/8 brushless?? what conversion kits will work with it ? just novaks??

i have only witnessed one novak system in action,breifly.i say briefy cos it shat itself everytime it went out. may have just been that one being a dud i dunno. i have been running castle creations monster mamba max system and it has been phenomenal. yes it is a little expensive but money well spent. i have had a couple of issues with yes,but there post sales support is brilliant. these hobbywing 1/8 systems seem to be going well for the price.have a look on ebay for them. as for hardware,i have used rcmonster motor/servo mount in my mbx5t.rcm products are quality. am converting a rc8t at the mo and am waiting on the econversion kit from associated to get the ball rolling.

Hv novak is 2 pole motor, try mamba, tekin or hobbywing system they are all 4pole motors. Can take 80 degree of motor heat.

I use Rc monster motor mount & jammin conversion kit for my jammin x2 n x2 CRT.
