Default Anyone running a 550 Ballistic/Vxl combo?

Whats your thaughts on it? I like the Vxl Esc and would like to maintain using it but achieve more power. From what I understand you have to run a wire to the sensor port on the Esc. What wire is this. Does it come with the motor? Where do you get it? I've always been sensorless.

What is the on-resistance for the VXL? The only Novak escs that we recommend for use with our Ballistic 550s are escs with very low on-resistance (Kinetic 2S, Havoc Pro SC, GTB, Havoc Pro, SLYDR) these escs all are rated 0.00040ohms on resistance.

The wire is called the sensor harness which allows the esc to communicate with the motor. This enables the system to be "sensored". We have a tech article---Sensored or Sensorless?---that explains this difference. Novak designs and manufactures sensored electronics.

Yes the sensor wire will come with the motor but like Novaktwo said you will want to check the specs on the VXL as it may have temp. issues running a 550 BL motor.

So the motor does come with the sensor wire and it fits into the Vxl esc with no problems?
