Default anyone every dye white A arms and have pics?

I have a cracked A Arm, and trying to decide weather to buy some HD Aluminum for $30 or get the white ones from the ESE kit and dye them purple ... dunno how it will turn out.

So I'm looking for pics of dyed parts , and how they turned out ..

Also, How easy is it to "bend" HD Aluminum A ARms

This is for a HPI Blitz 1:10 scale .. . driven pretty hard ..

Stay away from aluminum pats for the most part. It just moves the stress point and adds a bunch of wieght. If rpm has arms for the blitz get those. they are very durable. They might even have white ones??? As far as dyeing goes its all about the amount of time you leave the parts in the dye longer the darker and deeper. Hmm that doesnt sound right

I have seen a white roll cage dyed yellow. Looks really nice.

The front looked like the dye rubs away but being plastic or
nylon its understandable that the dye cant penetrate solidly.

Its worth it...
