Servo's also suck alot of juice as well, especially if your one of those guys who thinks you need 300-350 oz of torque. I run ae 1015, 201oz is plenty.

So I figured 15 min plus 45 sec for your warmup lap, divide by the mAh you used

Your at 339 mAh per min on your setup

That is really high in a buggy

I have had many cars and they are all right around 250-260 per min

Just charged the first lipo and there went 4908mah in it. The track was very loamy and the traction was really low btw.
This is a pic from the race: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...3_368487_n.jpg

+10 to that.

I have only seen a few over 300mah, but 339mah that alot. You could try going to a lower kv. Keeping your same batteries will help your run time's. I can't remeber what motor it was that your running. I think it was 2050, if so try a 1900 or even better a 1700.

Like REAPER, I also try to keep mine at around 200-225mah maybe 250 depending on the lenght of the race's that day.

If traction is down you can easily burn up a lot more battery than "normal". This is when you should be using current limiter and throttle control to prevent wheel spin. Also gearing up a tooth to tame the bottom end can also help. I've even dialed back my epa's to keep the power controllable.

Hey Randy,
I have wondered this for a bit. And seem to notice that when I use the current limiter. The motor itself seems to spin up slower, as you stated with some throttle control it helps' keep the wheels from spinning over.
That being said , could you use it like a traction control. Then use the EPA to help the top end from getting to wild.

+1

I've run both the 2650kv and 1800kv on 4s 5000mah in my RC8e. I could get about 18-19 minutes on my 2650 geared 14/50. I havent run down my pack on my 1800kv geared 19/46, but I get better mileage than the 2650. Mileage on my 2650 was around 280 mah/minute. The 1800 gets about 250 mah/minute.

My RC8e with 2650 installed.

19 minutes of runtime at racepace with 2650kv on 4s 5000 geared 14/50:

2650 geared 14/50 about 280mah/minute:

1800 geared 19/46 about 250mah/minute:
