Best mod1 pinions over 20T
Who makes the best, most-durable and long-lasting pinions over 20T?
I heard today from a reliable source that the Hot Bodies pinions are rather soft, and will wear out much faster than the venerable hardened-steel Robinson Racing ones. The same source also said the Novak pinions are even worse. I noticed that Castle offers two choices, a 21T and a 23T, but I don't know how good they are.
Anyone who has had experience with these pinions, or knows of any more pinions sources, please report here!

I have always run RC-Monster pinions and they have worked well for me. They have up to 25T or 26T I think.

The Hot Bodies Pinions are very good. Even on a metal to metal application, I have yet to replace a pinion because of wear.

I use the HPI pinions...I don't think they would ever wear out because they're solid! Hot bodies pinions are very nice, they are milled out to be lighter, but with the power we have with our buggies I don't think it makes much of a difference. Both are short shank so they fit the RC8Be nicely.

Ahh, I knew I was forgetting one: RC-Monster.

Which Pinion Gears To Use + Quick Release With 1 Screw- Motor Mount.
First Choice is Hot Bodies, Then I use RC-Monster If Hot Bodies doesn't make the size I need. But this is more for reasons of which gears fit the 1 Screw- Quick Release Motor Mount I use by Elite-RC. I also find that the gears have excellent wear/life as well.
Hot Bodies has mod 1 Gears from 12 Tooth up to 26Tooth.
RC Monster has gears as small as 9 Tooth, Which I also use on my Hyper 9E buggy as well. Lately I've switched over to useing non-metal- Plastic or Derlin Spur Gears as well. And the Hot Bodies and RC-Monster Mod 1 Pinion Gears also work great with these. Hope This Helps. If you have any questions about the Elite-RC Quick Release Motor Mount, PM me and I'll be glad to answer any questions or connect you directly with Brandon the Designer of the motor mount.
