I have ran Turnigy and Zippy 2S , 3S , and 4S lipos . I think they are great and perform the same as my high dollar lipos . All I run now are Turnigy /Zippy lipos .

I love turnigy batteries. Seem every bit as good as the more expensive packs. I have been wanting to order up some of the new nano techs they have out now

the nano techs sound pretty good. thanks for the replies guys. i was thinking that they might be made by the same company as others and just put a different name on them. kind of like antifreeze. as much as antifreeze and batteries are different.

Turnigy's are fantastic. I have owned 1 maxamp battery and about 12 Turnigys. I wont buy anything but Turnigys now. They have been great.... yes you might get one out of balance when you order them and yes the shipping is expensive..... but look at how cheap the packs are compared to others. Well worth the slight risk in my opinion. Besides.... Turnigys are 1/5 the cost of expensive batteries... Thus, you can run 5 times more for the same price I love them.

I am not saying I agree or disagree with you, but you should give some support to your statement. You say buying a cheap pack isn't worth it, why?

There's a difference between "Cheap" and inexpensive. The Turnigy packs are inexpensive, but far from "cheap".

BUT, if you'd like to pay 4x more for the same cells with a different decal or case, have at it Nothing wrong with trying to spur the economy

Turnigy's have gotten much better and are a great deal for the money (including S&H). But you have to be prepared to deal with potential issues - poor soldered connections or low voltage. Pack construction has not been a prob for a good while now. I buy them - have bought 7 so far 2S, 3S and some 4S. I haven't been disappointed. They run my Sav Flux, Inferno eGT, FLM Emaxx just fine. I had one 3S show up with a low voltage cell which I managed to revive by charging/discharging just the low cell a few times.

I do see a diff with my Neuenergy lipos though. The cell in those stay much closer in voltage rarely getting more than a few mv apart. My Turnigys show much more imbalance than that. The better cell balance is supposed to lead to longer life, but I'm not sure I'll ever know. Is the cost diff worth it??

I don't know, reason I buy both Turnigys and 'premium' lipos.
