Default Is my setup any good ?

First, I'm new, and ready to learn.. . don't know too much right now..

I bought a used Blitz with radio and everything except batteryfor $80.

it has the stock motor and esc

I ordered a lipo 5200mah 20C 2s battery , and a low voltage alarm ...

what do you think ? will this work ok ? and how long can I bash for with 5200mah ?
thanks

Double check to see if that ESC is capable to Low Voltage cut off for the LiPo. If not I suggest you invest in a LiPo voltage alarm.

Also, I'm personally not a fan of LiPo's under 25-30C, I've seen them cause some heat issues with ESC's. Keep an eye on your temps.

Thanks, I did order a low voltage alarm as well. My esc does not have one. .

I didn't even actually get it in the mail yet, but can't wait.

Your new Lipo will run a lot longer than the brushed motor is capable, unless it's geared correctly, and if you run it too long, you will-- "let the smoke out"..
