Default ESC placement.....

Since my ESC has a fan, I figure placement doesn't matter much, am I wrong?

Do you see a problem with mounting the ESC here?
Right behind the battery in front of the rear shock tower.

I don't see a problem with your ESC location.

Not really sure but I start to worry with 1/10 scale ESCs when they get to the 130 range..

You'll be fine mounting it there.

I see SC10's and Blitz's moving ESC's to the same location.

Start sweating at about 130F
