Default SC10 Question

Sorry guys. I'm sure this has been asked over and over, but does the SC10 have a CVD upgrade to get away from the dogbones? If so, what is the part number? Thanks a bunch.

That kit will work but it isnt ideal because of the new plastic retainer clips that dont work well...

ASC9678 are the ones to go with...these are the new FT SC10 CVA's.

ASC7455 is the other good choice if you cant find the new ones.

I second that the MIP CVD's with the plastic retainer rings suck. They're super easy to mess up the fine thread and they keep popping off. Used them for a run and went back to the stock dogbones. I've never had a single issue with the dogbones so personally I've never justified the $30 to get the Associated CVD's

There is a big improvement in performance with using CvD or CvA over a dog bone...

Don't cut your self short ....

ASC6443 Bleeder Shock Caps...you dont use bladders...

For the ultimate shock, get the new V2 shocks...
ASC7476 and ASC7482

There is nothing wrong with the MIP CVD kit for the SC10.I have used them for 3 months with no failures.Follow the build instructions and take care in assembly and the MIP CVD's are a great upgrade.

Thanks again for the help ya'll. If there are any other upgrades that I may need, please chime in. I am a nitro guy just jumping into the electric scene for practice. Any advice would help as far as hop ups. Already going with the 30 degree caster blocks. Let me know, thanks to everyone.

Part number 7487 is the shim/mount kit that allows adjustment for anti-squat and rear toe in. I think it sells for 6.00, so its cheap.

I actually used the spare pieces from my ft kit in my rtr kit and they work well.
