I neglected to move the upper arm spacers therefore increasing castor (I will change this). I used Losi 40wt oil in the front and 30wt in the rear Ride height was set slightly higher in the front and slightly more droop in the front. motor was a 4300kv using 14t pinion. I also used the polycarb wing bolted onto the white plastic wing to get a much better wing profile-more downforce.

So, at the track there are a couple of us which get 11 laps regularly in 6mins with 8th nitro buggies. Most 10th scale cars(all classes) get 9 and sometimes 10 laps. This little beasty was 10 seconds off of getting 11 laps. 10 laps in 6mins 10secs. Too say I was impressed is an understatement. More tweaking to come.

Cheers All
what ride height and how much droop i just got a hyper 10tt just looking for info on truck thanks

Also, if you have a Fry's electronics store in your area they carry it in the computer components department. They're with the wrap ties/etc. I picked up a bag there last spring, they have them in all colors.

Hey BigDD, At the moment my ride height is 25mm front and 23mm rear. Droop is 43mm front and 40mm rear. This is sure to change as I have just started testing to set this truck up to how I like it. Also different track conditions will yield different settings. I generally prefer lower rear to front to transfer more weight to the back for more rear traction.

To help reply to you I found a vid from NitroHouse which is very similar to how I take my measurements.

For what its worth: I switched back to my good old gtb with a lrp 6.5 540 size motor on 12t this time and was just blown away, this car gets better the more power/speed it has. I had the sct in it and it was awfully underpowered with nearly every gearing i tried, the nose dive is way easier to control with a more powerful motor, i cannot recommend this system for the tt.

Can I ask what lipo you're using? I've heard of others using the SCT Castle system and are pretty good with it.

I'm asking because I've got a Castle MM 4600KV setup to go into the TT using a 2S 5000Mah 25C Turnigy lipo and am hoping it will be more than enough.

Those batteries are going to push 125 amps. That castle motor will want 85 amps at most (I don't know how many watts it is, just guessing around 650, it can't be mire than that).
So yeah, your batteries won't even break a sweat.
