I got the Novak Havok pro/HV 4.5 motor for $130.

They also had a bit better combo, a newer ESC and the Ballistic 4.5 motor for 180 i think.. But they seemed very similar except that the Ballistic can be taken apart and rebuilt- and I figured I'd probably never do that.

That is the same setup I ordered, it should be delivered today.

I got my setup from NitroHouse. You will need to call the order in as they do not have the combo listed on the webpage.

I can verify this. The AE springs wont fit around the Hypers shock bodies.

All that is left is to get some more driving practice in. I am hoping this truck will be a popular enough to start more advanced classes. See ya at the track.
hey buddy,im still setting mine up..i just have the electronics to install.. im putting in the sxx tc spec with a ballistic 8.5T.. i was thinking 6.5 also but,i feel 8.5 will be enough at lir,and rchr.. i know the barn racers will be at concepts race so we will have a bunch of these there then.. i prob wont make sunday but definately the next date scheduled.. see you at the track..

Questions?? Initial Setup

OK, I got mine in the mail yesterday

I have been installing the electronics and have a question regarding the servo...

After installing the servo and the linkage I test fitted the body and it looks like it will be rubbing, is this the case with everyone else or did I do something wrong?

Thanks in advance

Yes the servo arm rubs the body a bit. No biggie. Just through a piece of tape right there.
