I really like this truck, but I used to own the HYPER SC 10 SC truck and the pillowball on the front had waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much slop from day 1 out of the box.....is there any replacement for these?? I do not understand why pillowball front suspension is even used anymore??????

Its used quite a LOT! Especially in 1/8th scale! They are tough, easy to adjust, and dependable! In 1/10th scale the jury may still be out... But on this little truck, it seems to work well! I dont have any problems with it yet!

Hey guys, figured I would let everybody know I went ahead and did what people keep asking about, just to help out the community you know . I went ahead and set my TT up with a MMM, a 2200kv, and 6s. I haven't got to really give it the good old beat test yet, but It actually doesn't seem to bad for bashing use. I'l get it to the track later this week to see how bad it really is, but it is fun none the less. I'm still playing with the gearing, diffs, and springs to get it to behave, but it actually seems to handle the extra weight well. I'm not so sure about the cvd's, but time will tell. Ill get some pics up as soon as I can, maybe a video or two as well.

I am running the recommended 5/5/2 from nitrohouse and it seems to work pretty well. Out of the box with grease from front to back, it drove well but pushed slightly coming out of the corners.

Anyone compared the hypertt to a losi ten-te w/buggy wheels? Torn between the two.

For either their is no local race class so I will be just bashing and practicing at the track. Looking for a fast as hell rig. I know the hyper tt weighs in at about 5.5lbs and the losi will be about 6.5lbs. Not sure if I can run a 1400kv/6s 2200 in the hyper tt. Would like to. Also does the hyper tt handle better with 1/8 buggy wheels or 2.2s?

Thanks in advance

No, sorry. Basically I just used all the AE parts for the B44. Drilled and countersunk the 4 holes for the battery posts. Just measure twice and drill once. LOL
