I'm thinking about picking up a hyper TT. Are there any issues with the truck that will need to be addressed? Also is anyone using 550 motors I've got a tenshock sc411 in my sctr10 and I was gonna get another one for the tt

I run aSC401 in my TT without any issues, the tranny are more than good enough for 550 4 pole

Most of us are running the 550 motors....I have used both 540 and 550 the 550 is better IMO runs cooler and has plenty of speed.

Any other durability issues to be aware of? I know every brand seems to have something that needs to be upgraded

get alloy rear hubs, alloy front top plate and rear cvds

Any real advantage to the Tim bump edition that nitrohouse offers I think its just the chassis that is different
