No,this is wrong. If you have a higher C rating(more amp capability),the voltage will go down more difficult and the battery will be cooler(and maybe have a little more punch and runtime). With higher C rating it'll be more difficult to hit the cut-off limit.

Thanks for the clarification.

I take it your using 2s? I would start with a 10 or 11, I run a ballitic 6.5 with an 11 and thats only 6400kv... your much better off with a 4600 4 pole... that 6900 is going to be tough..

Do you race or bash? For bashing you will have a ball with it, if you race it all depends on the rest of the field, its definitely enough power to move the truck around quickly. a friend of mine runs the 4 pole 4600 on 2s and its a rocket ship, Ive seen him launch 6ft off of a jump that my x12 powered t4.1 only gets 3-4 feet off of.. another member on here {mitchell} has some pics of his 3800 tt ballooning his tires to double there size in the dirt, with the same exact esc you have...

Then thats going to depend on your track size and setup, Im going to say your probably better off with the 3800... Also check out the tacons

Depending on your tracks size, turns and traction.. I have used both of them above motors, there a little longer but awesome especially for the price!!! Buy one of each and see how you like them...
If you oder from hobbypartz.com use coupon code "Hobbymodel" and get 5% off.. Good luck...
PS you will need 5mm pinions for them motors, there the same size as a 540 except longer with a bigger shaft...

Wow!! These Hyper TTs are really starting to draw some attention in San Diego. Quite a few guys have gotten them or are in the process of getting one.

There's even a class for them at SDRC Raceway, San Diego's new indoor off-road track. Oh yeah!!!
