We've got about 10-12 people that have committed to buying TT's. 4x SC fell off big time here and there's never a class so I'm going to be selling my Jammin it looks like.

One of the things we want to do is keep our class a spec class, 540 sized motors and a spec tire for the class so we can get people into the class easily and keep it fair for the people that don't want to invest a lot of money into the new class.

Hopefully this will keep people around and into the class. With 4x SC we had a big class but then a couple of is bought Jammin trucks and Hyper's and all the slash guys quit racing cause they were tired of getting their asses handed to them. Then when there wasn't a huge class people for bored and started selling their trucks and now it's almost impossible to get 3 guys for a class anymore. So we don't want to make the same mistake with the TT. The more people there are for the class the better.

So my main concern is this, the Hyper and the Jammin truck both eat up 540 motors with crazy temps no matter how you gear them and the 550 sized motor is a must. But how is the TT any different? The weight is nearly identical and all of the drivetrain the same as well.

So what are the temps you guys are getting after some warmup laps and a 6 min race? Is it really going to be possible to run a 540 sized motor in these long term?

My other question, has anyone figured out what the offset is on the wheels and what other wheels might work on the truck? Or will stuck in a world of trying to order wheels that aren't really available anywhere.
Thats weird. I've been racing Hyper 10SCs with Traxxas Vxl 540s and never had a problem yet other than needing to replace the front bearing on one of them, wow like .50 cents. Next year will probably throw in some 550 Novaks and leave the Vxl Escs in. My biggest problem is finding batteries that don't go to shit.

At WC ...the TT's for sale were new in box with a ballistic 550 motor for $220 and the other sold for $200 with over $100 in spares...They were for sale by owners in the used case...

We sell the TT's new for $180.

yes they do the only thing you have to do is put your electrics in and if you want the truggy style wing is to install the mount and paint the body.

the tires are proline holeshots

Cody, you can get by with the VXL system in the Jammin or the Hyper and it actually works quite well. Keep in mind that the VXL motor is considered a 540 motor but it uses a larger rotor which provides more torque. Its really kind of in between a 540 and a 550.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I really appreciate it... For those of you at OCRC, are you guys running the stock holeshots as well? I know our dirt at PRCR is quite similar to OCRC.

I think for our small tight track a 10.5 or an 8.5 will be plenty of motor... guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm super excited to get this class going!

Anybody figured out what offset the wheels are yet??? I need some yellow wheels for sure!

Still have some in stock? I'm thinking of getting another one for a back-up.
