Maybe work on making it use the entire front end from an scrt10, you would need about a 13mm spacer on each wheel {should be simple enough to machine, I could make them in a few minutes}...

Full front end conversion,right?(C-Hubs,etc)
I'd like to keep the pivot ball suspension.I have only the steering link of the SCRT10(for less slop)

I like how the pivot ball handles, but its just not as strong as the c hubs, My scrt10 never has front end breaks, and I have broken 2 front carriers on the tt, granted it was while I was learning the track...

I'm not sure about this conversion yet.Maybe after the chassis conversion.
Which parts are easier to find:Jammin or Ofna/Hobao?

Awesome, I originally bought a ss sps, but I machined in a wyatt detachable mag, a b&c a5 medalist stock, tactical bolt knob, and a jewel trigger... I have 8 rem 700s all together, newest one is a 7mm-08 stainless mountain rifle...

I seen a 10tt with a carbon fiber chassis {3.5mm flat plate and they used an aluminum wedge to get the angle for the front gearbox} but they used a complete middle diff from a B44 with the b44 motor mount, so they had a slipper, it seemed to work very well...
Pics?

Questions?? Shocks

Besides the P-L PowerStrokes, is there any upgrades? I heard that the T-4 was a direct bolt on. Has anyone else tried this?

I am looking for something made of aluminum.

Thanks in advance,

I tried a set of associated shocks, they were OK, but it was a pain getting the length correct, I tryed different bodies and shafts until I had it close but longer, then added spacers... All that work and they were just OK, problem was I best a rear shaft, so I replaced it, then for some reason, bent another shaft {they came in a pack of 2 so no biggy, but I didnt want to bend another one}.. So I fixed them and sold them to a guy at my track that has a tt, he put them on for about2 weeks, and told me hes taking them off because the stockers worked better, hes going to save up for the prolines, I have been killing them, just dialed in now...

PS The prolines are aluminum....

I saw a post where a lot of modifications were needed to make them fit correctly, is this still the case?

I have a post around here explaining the entire process, its not very hard or time consuming, just expensive...
I used Lunsford titanium shock mounts {for T4}
Associated upper shock bushings {you will file these down a little and drill out the threads that they come with, this takes about 10 minutes for all 4}
I made spacers to go inside the shocks {this took about 15 minutes}
and then you install the lower shock eye balls from your tt shocks into the new shocks {3 minutes}.

But you can just buy the proline kit for $10 and no need the lunsford mounts, or to drill and file the aluminum ae shock bushings.... Then all you have to do is put the old shocks next to the new shocks, get a measurment of the difference, make 2 spacers for the rear and 2 for the front, as long as the spacer material has an inner diameter of 3.5mm+ and the correct length it will work perfectly....
Anyway good luck, I dont regret doing mine at all, it changed the truck, and now I have it dialed...
