If anyone in here runs on carpet, what tires are you using? The stock ones have to much side bite causing it to traction roll to much! Also the stock ones dont last to long on our track!

Hay I have a hyper tt just wondering if any one has tried to convert the tt to hyper sc it does not look to hard. I know the chassis is a little different but I can't git the measurements don't know if it is the same length. The only thing I do know is the shock tower is a little taller every els looks like it will boult right on.Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Changes that need to be made off the top of my head, front and rear chassis braces, front shock tower, front shocks, body mounts, chassis, drive shafts center, rear shock tower, front and rear bumper assems, lower arm hinge pin holder and I think you would only need to change one of them. HHHm that's off the top of the cranium.

Went to order a savox 1258 and they are out of stock. Would the 1257 be enough for the TT? It is 133 oz and .07 on the speed.

1257's are more than enough, good choice in a servo.

Thanks for the heads up. I have read that in the SAVOX thread. Hoping I dont have to run an external BEC. I dont get along with the CC BEC to well. I have went through two of them and on the third in the last two years in the crawlers. Trying to decide on the ESC. I use Tekin but hear they are the worst with the SAVOX servos as far as brownouts go. Lookin into that VIPER with a 6.5 I have the SCT sidewinder/3800 4-pole in the SC10 I could try out. I could aslo test the 4.5hv/Havoc Pro from the 10sc. I think that might be to much weight. I think I am the first in the area to get one. So there isnt really a class yet.

Havent ran the TT on the carpet yet. But we were using barcodes with dope on the SC10 and T4. The stock SC10 tires have been the best on the carpet so far. A friend was using the Duratrax street trac on his T4 and they did really good. Had just enough push to make it fun. Bet they would be good with a 4wd. Wont let me post the full link since I dont have enough posts....

Hey can the guys running the 540 5700kv motors tell me what you are running on your pinions? I have a 550 5750kv on a 11 tooth pinion and it's quick, but runs cool to the touch. Stripped the rims hexes on the factory wheels the other day and threw on some old school stampeed tires I had lying around. These are huge and heavy and it rides whellies down the road now on 2s, kinda like it did on the factories with 3s. The motor is warm now, but I can leave my hand on it as long as I want so it's not hot. What you guys think I should run with factory siZed tires?

Also like the ride hight and looks like this what you think it would do with 1/8 truggy tires?

I bought some 1/8th wheel adapters and running buggy wheels....anything bigger looks kind of out of place. Havent really had a chance to run it but I'm starting with the stock 13T pinion anyways.
