Thanks for all the input on the diff situation. I need to get my hands on the strc spur ive just been waiting for a reason to add something else to my order, not just the spur + shipping moving on, Its not that the sound bothers me at all, I actually think it gives the TT some presence but people at the track look at me like theres something wrong with it (there arent many TT's running here).

Got to test my TT for the first time today. I am having some radio issues and I dont know whats going on.

The steering servo randomly recenters itself to a different position about every 10 seconds. I have it set perfectly straight on the bench, but I do a pass and come back and now the neutral setting is pointing to the right. I do another pass and it'll reset the neutral steering position to something else. It makes it impossible to drive on a track. I am using a Spektrum DX2.0 transmitter and an sr3000 receiver. I have a capacitor in the "aux" slot (this is supposed to help maintain voltage to the receiver) but that doesn't help. I'm using the Castle Sidewinder SCT 3800kv motor system.

Also, my motor temps are around 100F and my ESC is around 120F. Is this normal? I was using a 42/12, gonna try a 42/14 next.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like your servo saver isn't recentering.

Are you sure it's the servo and not the servo saver?

Found it! The threads where the link attaches to the servo teeth was stripped.

Yeah. Servo horns strip out a lot, generally if my car has a servo saver I use an aluminum horn to try and prevent that.

As far as the temps are concerned, you should be running a 14-16 tooth with that 3800KV. You are undergeared at this point...which will overwork the speedo. Your temps are not really high by any means, but they should be inverse to what you are seeing now.. 120 motor, 100 speedo.

Get yourself an aluminum servo horn and save yourself some trouble. You will be able to run the servo saver a bit tighter as long as the servo is up to snuff.

Enjoy.....these trucks are an absolute riot to drive!!

Put the 14 tooth in and it's considerable better. Top speed is still a little lacking but for now since I'm just bashing it, it should be fine given the space I have to play in.
