That's Chris Allison's TT (as I said above), not the guy who posted the video's.

I'll ask Chris what he did for more steering, but it's an out of the box TT.

As far as I know he changed the shock oil to 35wt Losi all around and the diff fluids to 3k front, 5k middle, 1k rear (probably where the steering is coming from) on stock tires/foams.

Are there any downsides to running a RX8 ESC compared to a RS Pro? I was thinking of going with a RX8/Novak ballistic 7.5 on my TT just for durability hearing of a couple people in this thread thermalling with the RS Pro but didnt know.

if its a 540 can the RsPro is fine, The RsPro likes to thermal on the 550 motors.

Tekin recommends a RX8 for the 550 motors.

Default Self made inserts

I am currently making my own inserts out of 1/8 truggy inserts. Left them over night to dry. This sunday I will test them out.[/QUOTE]

Ran the truck with my own inserts. Came in first on race day. Traction was pretty good. To bad there is no class for the truck at the track I go to. But then I was the only one with the truck that day.

By the way Proline Racing came out with their own closed cell inserts 1/10 truck. What timing!

Gonna continue to run it with hopes more 10tt will join in. Sportman's here I come!! Hhahaha!!

Is anyone running 1/8th scale electronics in it? Like an RX8 and a 1700kv or something?

Just wondering, I have an extra set laying around and would love it if I could use that rather than buy another 1/10th scale set.

How good is this truck for bashing? I don't have a nearby track but I have miles of first at my disposal. I found that my Blitz can't handle the terrain so I want to try the Hyper 10TT out. Is it durable?

The TT is not for bashing IMO

Could you explain why? I was hoping it would be fun for tooling around in the dirt.

It's just designed for racing. If you want something for bashing get a monster truck or something. Even a short course truck would be better.

I can bash also but if your giving some real fast-fast-fast speeds then the durability factor goes down from real long cartwheels into trees or curbs but won't be for any ol truck or buggy? My daughter tossed my TT around a couple of times and she's not the greatest jumper she like to run the TT out in the open she gets nervous at tracks so bashing is not bad.

Well due to the lack of 4WD my Blitz can't handle all the stuff I throw at it.

Maybe I'll get a Stampede 4x4 or something instead.

I'd recommended the Slash 4X4 if ya want to bash...
