Jeff,

At the Clay pit the turnaround between the two sunken doubles is the only thing I could think to give a potenetial problem.

thanks,

Yeah that's the only spot I was thinking of too. Thanks, Ron.

Also, depending on the layout, there can be a lot more tight turns (like the layout previous to this one).

Why does it seem that alot of tt owners are getting rid of the truggies? Is there a problem with them or is it a matter of the class not taking off in your area? Thanks.

I'm not gonna remove the links on mine, but with them installed, measuring from center of eyelet to center of eyelet, approx 80mm. This probably doesn't help...but thought I'd offer the info regardless. According to the manual, PT # 21035 is 36.5mm.

+1 I have had some breakage issues, which I think is due more to stupid driving on my part, but all in all, I'm loving this lil bugger.

Same here - awesome little truck - breakage me getting to know it Doing much better now

I know we want a class but as yet don't have one, main issue is those of us that have them show up to race different days....
The local track will let us race with the SC 4X4 though, but I have that as well...
Wish they'ed let us race with the Mod Trucks that would be more fun

will a Hitec HS-645MG servo be enough for this truggie, or should I consider a servo with faster response?

DC- IMO, it is a very durable servo, and torque wise should be ok, but at .20, is very slow, especially if you're an experienced racer. If you're just bashing around it will serve you well or if you are used to "RTR" servos, I would say it would be comparable to those in speed.

Your TT looks killer, looks like it has some good turn in.

That's Chris Allison, owner of Speedster Hobbies and The Clay Pit Raceway driving it.

It's completely stock, even the crappy stock tires/foams, with a Tekin RS Pro and a Tekin Redline 6.5 with a KO 2368 servo.

Once he gets some good tires for it his lap times will probably go down over a second.
