How does this truck run with CC SCT combo? I'm thinking about buying the Hyper TT and wanted to pull the combo out of my FT SC10...

From other people who have posted that have it installed they are very happy with that setup.

For me on a tight indoor course this setup was awesome. The CC SCT fits the Hyper TT very well in terms of power and speed.

As usual somebody must disagree . Ithink it lacked the spped this truggy needs, went back to a 540 6.5 and never looked back, so much faster with better response.

Well, I guess I have to respectfully disagree with you too. I initially put a 540 6.5 in mine but didn't feel it was quick enough for me. Now I have a 550 4.5 in it with a 14tooth pinion. Love it even more with this power plant.

cool, thanks guys. One other question, is it worth it to get the truck with the aluminum chassis from nitrohouse.com?

Default up to you

It wouldn't be worth it to me. It looks awesome though. Ultimately however, it's your money.

Plus you'll never have any centering problems..or another problems that seem to plague every hitec I've ever owned..

Thats interesting, i got totally fed up from the sct, tried 15t and 16t and watched 2wd stadium trucks with 8.5 overtake me on the straight, but in fact i never tried the 12 and 13t i had lying around, but temps were always very low, so i assumed i'm still undergeared. Or maybe my 6.5 octa is a better powerhouse than i know. Anyways Im so happy I wont try the sct anymore, its in my 2wd buggy and totally rips, after all its a good buy.

ok i haven't been to this thread in a while so if this has been covered i'm sorry
at our local track...barnstormers rc in NY...have been experiencing a lot of broken bellcranks, judging on the fact that these and knuckles are always on backorder, i know it is a weak point in the truck.
if you ofna factory guys are still reading or if anyone else know if a metal one will become available?
or are people experiencing less failure with the stock plastic servo horn or is it just because we use metal servo horns???????
i have loosened up the servo saver and without hitting anything upon after race inspection the bellcrank still has cracked ?????????????
i am going to boil the parts just to try something different
any help or advise always appreciated

Asked before, I will ask again, what other bodies fit these trucks? Who has mounted something else on them? Looking for a different legal body that fits.

I use the jammin STRC steering linkage ( it works with very little mods)..this is on the hyper SC10..it uses the same basic parts..

I have used two motors.A Novak 540 5.5T (with tuning rotor) and a Novak 4.5T 550.The 550 is better.(I use it now)
