NiMH Battery Problem...
Hey...
Not that it's an expensive battery or anything, but I have one of those Epic Sport 3000 batts and It won't seem to hold a charge... Not that it's that expensive, i just dont think it should be no good already... Please help! -Jeff |
Try chaging and dischageing them 3-5 times. A dischage tray maybe helpful aswell. Check each cell to see if the volts. are semiler in range.

I agree, cycle them a few times and see if they come back to life. If they don't they are like my 2 year old 3000's.... a good paper weight :(

I got one of these used it for a few months with no problems so bought another one. After a couple of charges the new one lost a cell, then the first one lost a cell at about the same time. It's not too bad i've got another 3000 with 2 dead cells so I can make 2 good packs out of the lot..

Got it working again, I cycled it 3 times and it works great now! Thanks for the help!

sometimes they need a kick in the pants. If I was you and my application would allow, I would break them down into side by side packs so you can equalize the voltages on them before charging in a tray. I know they are cheap packs, but its still good to take care of them. Its not cheap to keep rebuying packs.
