Blitz gearing question with castle sidewinder 4600kv combo
Just wanted to know what gearing other people are running with this same combo. HPI Blitz Castle sidewinder 4600kv. I'm running the stock gearing 88/18. But the motor seems to run just a little hot. Was thinking of going to the 83/22 the manual says to run with a 10.5 motor. Has anyone run this gearing if so what are the temps of the sidewinder and motor?

I've got a 4600kv sidewinder in my blitz and I run 20/88 gearing. For me, I think it's perfect. I can't remeber the exact motor temps but I think the hottest I've seen with this gearing was 130ish? It gives me plenty of torque down low but also run out nicely on a long straight.
