try a "Sign Shop"
as well we'll do many of the stickers for many companies as well.
only problem if you get stuff within the "R/C" buisnesses you'll end up paying a over inflated pricing !!
for example and do "Shop Around" but say one place "R/C Related
may charge 35 to 45 for a "FEW" names a sign shop if you have a BMP or a cleaned up Jpeg image they can probally do it for 10.00 to 20.00 depepnding on there width of there printing ploters...
most are 24" 48" 54" and 64" so if they have other customers that are getting stuff done they can fit the other images to help take up the remaining areas of the cutting area......
plus they will have your Images on file and can get them any time.
or can make some your self, the advent of newer printers on the "Consumer market" you can get printable "Vinyl" at Staples or office max type stores.....even though our selves we make signs and banners as well, sometimes for my R/C cars it's what i'll do....
if you have say a photoshop type program just make up your design,
set up your image so you can fit it all on the sheet your printing on,
print it up....then just put a "Laminate" on it....can find the Laminate rolls in the same places....cool part there usually the same sizes as the paper....
the cool part is you can come up with what you want! and not have to pay someone 10.00 an hour making something up for you that there not "Into"
or a "Stock Image" or Generic Samples from ready made Disks.
but if your still looking into having a place do it,check local sign shops.
and if you have an image but not sure if it is cleaned up enough?
no problem hit us up we'll check it out and clean it up for
"FREE" no not a typo.......but For "FREE"
but here i'll show you it's easy and fun!
in the image below set up your image put in your images you'd like
in the example below they wanted some flames with our RGX logo
for the TTR buggy now showing a "Wing Plate" with Number plates but this applies to anything you like to do!!
after we were done we printed it on some "Regualr paper"
to make sure there wasnt any odd printing etc. etc. keep in mind the Printable vinyl is not super expensive, but you don't wanna waste it....
the color is not great cause we did in a "Fast Draft" saves on Ink.
now that we have it all finished,we printed it on the good stuff! the Printable Vinyl....cool part it already has the Adhesive already on it so when your done just "Peel and Stick" !!!
last thing we need to do is put the Laminating on it...if you ever got stickers from a "Kit" it is the "Exact same thing" almost like "Clear Vinyl" but tougher....
so once the clear laminate is on it just cut them out and your done!!
we could put it through our cutting Plotters but it just takes a couple of minutes to cut them out....and in this case the customer wanted to cut them out,and they save money too....
what did this cost him? nothing? he had the images, and Paper he just did not have a Printer.....so they were cool and got me a Burger!!!
and got me a entry the last time i raced! was really cool!!!
