is it normal for all the out drives on the center front and rear diffs to get hotter than the motor ?
they usually get warm because of "axle scrub" due to the center diff being offset from centerline of the chassis. As the car gets older the heat increases because of axle slop which causes the driveline to "bind up" on power.
