This one is in the US, I've run IP saddle packs and they run good. I know a few guys who run IP packs and they're just as good as the bigger names. Most likely the same anyways..

Have you purchased batteries from these people before? I bought some batteries on eBay about a year ago and it was a horrible experience.

RCHCpowerpack has 5300 mAh 30C packs for $54.99 that are strong and 5000mAH 40C for $69.99 that are super strong. I run both and have run some of the other $99 dollar plus packs and all I can say is there is no need to spend that much. Everyone who has tried them who had the el cheapo race packs can see and tell a difference as well.

I just have to be sure they're ROAR approved. I'm new enough to not care too much on the brand, but am interested in trying the "better" ones.

I ask about the batteries on eBay, not because of the brand, but because of the age or something. I purchased a set of matched nimh batteries at a decent price. Turns out they were the previous years release and were dead. So I'm curious if anyone bought some new ones, like posted, on eBay and got what you paid for.

All the packs in the link are going to be the same just depends who you buy from....

I didn't buy overseas when I got mine. It came from Connecticut. The lady was nice enough to refund me, but I still lost out on about $15 bucks shipping both ways. Not a whole lot, just a pain in the butt. Maybe I'll take another gamble soon, we'll see. I just picked up a ROAR approved Venom last night.

What part of what you're reading aren't you getting?

The model I purchased was new. Brand new, in package. No question about it, considering I broke the seal and there were no marks of any kind on the pack. The issue was, is that it was last years model. The picture was this years model. If you look, many eBay sellers will say "STOCK PHOTO", item may vary. The seller I cam across did not.
