I've got a Hobbywing eZRun 7800KV in my Mini-T and it fits fine. Plenty of power too. I found it kinda hard to find a motor with the mounting holes the right distance apart and that was reliable. But, like for any other scale, the Hobbywing seems to work fine for me

Pick up a brushless Ezrun system and never look back. Hobby partz sells the 18a V2 with a 5200kv motor for $38 plus shipping. I just stuck one in my mini-T and its a world of differance. I've now ordered one for my Tamtech frog. It comes with the program card so that you can adjust everything from punch control to voltage cut off. Well worth the dough.
