It's ok but it's not the best. It can hold it's own but in the hands of the right person there is no reason a Slash should beat an SC10. A GOOD driver is going to find that little more speed that the SC10 has in it. It really all depends on the level racers you're running with. All in all the SC10 is a higher quality truck but I wouldn't bash with it, not saying you can't, I just wouldn't, IMO, it just wasn't made for that. IMO the Blitz (not the ese) is in the middle, higher quality than the slash but they have really, I mean really soft parts which means they hold up but they also flex too much to get a good "feel" for a race truck.

This discussion will never end because everyone has his opinion. Most of the like or dislike comes from what you like to race based on feel of the truck and how it works for you.

I don't bash only race. However the Slash seems a better basher based on durability and parts availability. I don't have any trouble beating Blitzs,
SC10s, and Strikes at the four local tracks where I can race.

It is just a matter of preference.

only thing I say is buy a bigger lipo for that 8.5,,,,,,,and more run time. It will run the 8.5 but not the best choice IMO.
