Thumbs up TRF 502Xs

For those of you that don't have access to the "Bookface" TRF Off Road Buggy page

Here is the completed project. Paul Sims a BEZERK R/C did this work and is the one who sells the conversion chassis kit

Comes with 4mm front and rear towers, 2.5mm upper decks, 3mm lower deck with no openings ( completely flat ) 3.5 mm longer and 10mm narrower as well ( same width as the TRF503 ) milled pockets, adjustable shorty battery tray to adjust the weight for optimum balance, floating servo mount brought over from the TRF503 and can be flipped to either side depending on what chassis balance configuration you want to use ESC behind the motor or esc in front of the Shorty battery. Chassis balance is a 46% Front & 54% Rear Bias ( similar to the 503 bias which is 47% Front & 53% Rear ) Also this chassis kit makes the TRF502x very light...as well for those of you that run spec classes.. 13.5 ect ect..

Nice. Since the chassis is 3.5mm longer does this cause an issu with the prop shafts fitting properly? (edit) oh, I see now, it is explained on Bezerk R/C web site.

Built a new TRF502 with a few hop ups. Floating servo mount, front and rear DJC, TB04 gear diffs (diff fully upgraded), and big bore shocks. Pretty much it. Time to paint the body and play~!

Hi Joey,

What car is that floating servo mount from? And was it a direct drop in?
Cheers.

I think it was direct from my TRF418. I'll have to check tonight. I didn't do anything with this chassis since I posted these pictures.

How did you fit the TA04 gear diffs?
