what pinion do you have on it now?
I checked the gear ratio for it and it looks like for a 10 turn you should be using about a 20 tooth pinion.

no clue for the bl though..

Right now I am running a 17. Hrmmm 20 eh? I thought 20 would have been to big.

Now I just have to figure out what I should use with the BL. But the BL should be almost the same as the 10 turn I have in there now, don't you think??

You will have to gear a brushless motor differently than its equivalent brushed motor.

You will definately want to gear the SS higher than your 10 turn. The 20t pinion will probably be a good place to start, and you should cut a hole in the under body to give the ESC some airflow or it will get really hot easily.

20 is were I thought I should start. I found the ss controller didn't get that hot. I ran one in a xxx-4 and a xxx-s. But I will see his it is in the MT. Might get a little hotter because of the inner body.

Well I got the BL installed and the chassis brace.

The truck is slower then what it was with the KR but the fact that I have no maintenence to do its worth it.







I have allot more plans for this truck but since I have another project I am about to start this is on hold. But its performing good enough for now so I'm still happy with it like this

which the resurgence of 4wd buggy, who knows, maybe 4wd truck is around the corner? Looking at the SB and from what I have heard about Academy parts compatibility, you could make a 4wd shaft E Truck with the right parts.

Any racing in the future for this?

No unfortunately not.

We ahve to offroad race scene here at all. So I just use it to bash.
