Well, i like the stock evader. But, i love mine heres all the mods ive made:

Aluminium front bumper*
Aluminium Shock towers*
Aluminium Chassis*
Aluminium Top Plate*
Aluminium Motor Guard*
Modified Steering System*
Aluminium transmission brace
Futaba 3PK Radio
New Motor, forget the kind
7 cell pack to come soon

* = I made those ones

So, if you do get an evader, i will have all those parts in plastic to sell. Look up evader st in the for sale section, have all the parts listed there. But yea, i highly reccomend duratrax, expecially because of their customer service. Also, i find the evader very easy to drive, hardly needs different setups for different surfaces. ONe reccomendation, keep the stock tires for running on dirt, not the street, i ate right through them in a month on ashvalt, well, yea, get an evader. You may want to look into the evader pro too, it looks cool

XXX-T ALL THE WAY!

I have two offroad tracks somewhat closeby, and another onroad is being considered for construction...

Losi is MUCH more expensive than Duratrax, but if you get a Losi you'll be more race-worthy. Now, nothing against Duratrax, the Evader Pros sound like a good buy with some kick-@$$ electronics... and that stress tech guaruntee is a good deal, but I've only seen one on the track once, and it was bringing up the rear... (probably the driver though)

If you're interested, there's a lot of XXX-T MFE's for sale for around 100 bucks; people are making way for the MF2...

Also, the Evader St is based on the Losi XXT, whereas the XXXT is all new technology

ctardi: it's not a fancy batt but Trinity has an Amp Max 2 1500() 8 cell...

I have two batts I messed up so I'm gunna make a 12 cell for my Tekin and run a 15t on 12 cells...

The only nitro I've ever had was the worst experience and waste of money I've ever made.

If you're not racing then Electric will be more affordable. Some would argue this.

Electric, people say is more expensive to run than gas because "batteries". Batts can range from 9 bucks to 89 bucks, and people who buy the 89 dollar batts Race. I mean, think, 25 bucks for a gallon of trinity nitro 25% (where I live)... lasts from a week to a month, whereas a 9 dollar battery will not give you much run time, but will last you about a year... I have an old 1500 that I bought in 5th grade... I'm in 10th now...

Just my 2cents

electric is cheeper for a truck, but then you need charger, batts, new brushes everyso often, it adds up, bashers-electric racers-nitro

Dude, you know, you can't go wrong with Associated or Losi, but KEEP YOUR NITRO!!! If you don't like electric, it'll suck to get rid of your nitro, buy an electric, hate it, sell it, and start all over again! Trust me, had to do it!
